Istorgia*
A place with history..
The today's Pension Crasta exhibits a very old existence in the core. The origin building goes back until approximately 1800.
The
house was 1863 property of the Bastiaun Margadant. The Margadant from Crasta are
mentioned in the books of 1691 for the first time. Through the marriage with
Anna Margadant it changed to Jacob Padrun junior. In the year 1920 August Martin
Waldburger acquired the house from the heirs of the family Durisch and built a
wood workshop. In the year 1932 Victoria Fümm gets into the possession of it and
puts the foundation-stone to the Pensiun Crasta.
Christian Casutt acquires the Pensiun Crasta in 1963, which he sold to Arturo and Barbara Padrun in the year 1970. A restoration of the building took place in the following years. The "House Grialetsch" was bought and additional rooms were built. Soon, it was opened for the first time in the winter, too. Early spring 2008 Arturo Padrun died and the Pensiun Crasta is now run by Barbara Padrun.
